Root vegetables, known for their mineral dense benefits. Rooted in the earth, cool season vegetables, they are known to nourish us during the colder fall and winter months, helping us to transition to the changing of the seasons, providing us with warmth and nourishment, grounding us.

INGREDIENTS
Sweet potato
Turnip
Carrots
Parsnip
Rutabega
Yam
Ginger, Onion, Garlic
Spices (cayenne, paprika, cumin, chilli flakes salt, pepper)
Dried herbs (thyme, oregano, rosemary)
Cilantro on top
Directions
Peel all the vegetables
Bring water to a boil and add in the heavier items. Cover & simmer between low- medium for 25 minutes.
Add onions & garlic
Simmer for another 10 minutes
Add the spices & herbs and simmer for another 15 minutes on low.
Add fresh relish such as cilantro or parsley.
